I love wings but most of my favorite wing joints are mostly for weeknights.  Any ideas for wings on this Saturday night where I can watch the World Series?  I was debating between Hooters or BW3...I'm expecting a huge crowd either way.  Suggestions?

Can't miss with Gamekeepers- my personal favorite wings. Yep, in 2005, 2003, and even 2006.

Patrick - I only hit up Gamekeepers on Thursdays :) for those yummy 10 cent wings..
and Mondays is Cans for their 20 cent wings
Tuesdays is BW3 - mmm... :)
Wednesday - have yet to find a place yet but Hooters is always a decent fallback
Thursdays - Gamekeepers!

I have a list on my fav places for wings - it was a great 'date goal' back in 2003 for me and my boy - to find the best wings for the best price all over Chicago!

The Goose Island brewpubs have great wings, but they're pricy for what you get. I remember the Birdsnest having a great special on wings, 10 cents or 20 cents on, I think, Thursdays.
Out in the suburbs, the place to go is Gators Pub- there was one in Prospect Heights on Milwaukee near Palwaukee Airport that I think has closed. The other is in Palatine on Rand Rd. just north of Dundee. The wings are huge, spicy without being overly hot, and they have the garlic hot wing variety that leaves your breath a weapon of mass destruction... but oh man is it worth it.

Is that Gator's Pub anywhere near Golf and Elmhurst? (Mt. Prospect) I'm looking for a Monday night wing hang after a rehearsal in that area...

No, unfortunately it's not- it's a good ways north of where you'll be. Over there though, there's a sports bar called Pap's that just south of Algonquin on Elmhurst. I haven't tried it, but it looks okay from the outside. A safer call is the Boston Blackies  west of there on Algonquin just east of Arlington Heights Road- or maybe the Applebee's across the street.

I used to like the Wings at Buffalo Joes (Evanston on Clark west of Sherman) - but they taste much better if you do NOT watch them prepare the Wings...Just trust me on this and look away....
